Hi there! Sorry that I forgot to introduce myself before I just got stuck right into the forums. Kinda like turning up at a party and just heading straight to the food :-)
I'm not sure I can really put this into words without sounding a bit tree huggery, but maybe that's OK. I love being in our beautiful outdoors, and for me, wild food adds the final dimension to the sensory experience. You're seeing the landscape, hearing the birds, and feeling the ground under your feet and the wind birling around you. Add to that a wee nibble of this and that as you pass, and it's just all round magical.
That aside, I'm quite down to earth, promise! I've been learning about wild food for a couple of years maybe - maybe not even that long, and am loving the learning journey and new experiences it's bringing.

Hey there Lucy, welcome to the forum. We're all at various stages of learning, and it's a brilliant journey, look forward to sharing in yours and hopefully we can help with any questions you may have.
And you sound no more tree huggery than the rest of us. Nowt wrong with hugging trees (as long as it's not against the trees wishes ☺)

Hi Lucy, myself and Foragingmouse will be venturing on a Scottish road trip in January if you fancied meeting up.
