Well after a dodgy start my season has been a memorable one with some of my best hauls to date didn't manage to find horns again but it's good to have a fungi nemisis . Hope everyone is good and we should relight a fire under this forum again for a new year

in 2014 we had more ceps here than we knew what to do with, best year ever. However everything else was a bit poor, especially the chanterelles.
It's getting close to the time of year when we prowl the sand dunes hoping for a morel (and failing every time)

The concept of having more ceps the you know what to do with is awesome! I had some but way more scarletina and birch boletes than anything else. Did get a decent haul of Bay boletes too. Almost a complete absence of wood blewits for me though, in sharp contrast to previous year.
I've now got my fingers crossed for a decent St George's haul next month. Especially as I should be able to pair them with my first asparagus harvest which ice been waiting 2 years for!
