I found a massive patch of wild strawbs but I've been to check every week for weeks and weeks and they still haven't fruited. what's going on? any ideas?

Not all wild strawberries fruit I can tell if they are barren if you get a pic of the leaves

Oh man, really?
I'll be gutted if this patch NEVER fruits as there's billions of them. What should I look out for in barren ones?

They do offer something :-) pick lots of the young leaves and dry them for a strawberry leaf tea they are good green in salads also
