I'm off the alcohol for a while and totally sugar free. any ideas for sloes?

not especially if youre going sugar free too, sloes, due to their astringency need sugar to make them edible.

They make reasonable leather if you like tarte flavours 50/50 with sweet apples

Well... They're okay in a jelly alongside some apples, maybe mix in rowans too... But I tend to think that most of what you can do with sloes is better done with something else instead, the exception being the liqueurs.
I wonder if a sloe cordial might be good?
