Not seen any info on these but typical British response a real eye opener is to forage with anyone from Asia or Eastern European states that have a real different look on situations like this

never heard of them to be honest, I get to the coast reasonably regularly and get common mussels from there, but if i could find these near me id consider having a go

ive read these are not worth eating due to the way they accumulate toxins

Zebra mussels dis a bang up job of cleaning up Lake Erie. Too good a job, they say. They've been selling them at bars cheap for years. I eat them. Never foraged them.
